- 1 bundt pan
Ingredients
Bundt cake
- 1 heaping tsp cinnamon
- 2 heaping tsps sugar for sprinkling
- 1 and 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 sticks unsalted butter aka 1 cup
- 2 eggs
- 8 oz sour cream
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsps vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
Icing
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/8 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Grease the bundt pan very well
- Preheat the oven to 350 F
- Mix together 1 heaping tsp cinnamon with 2 heaping tsps sugar
- Sprinkle half the sugar and cinnamon into the bundt pan and set aside
- In a medium mixing bowl, cream 2 sticks of butter with 1 1/4 cups sugar
- Add 2 eggs and 8 oz sour cream and mix together
- Add 1 cup of flour at a time and mix together
- Add 2 tsps vanilla and 1 tsp baking soda and mix it together
- Pour half the batter into the bundt pan, then pour in the cinnamon-sugar, then the rest of the batter
- Bake for 45 minutes
- While the bundt cake is baking, make the icing. Mix together the powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until it is thin
- Once the bundt cake is done baking, take it out and wait for it too cool before turning upside down and removing it from the bundt pan
- Top with icing
